Yamaha has always fought Honda for market share around the globe. One country that they’ve surpassed the popularity of Honda is Malaysia. Head over the border to Thailand and it’s a Honda nation. But it only takes a few minutes inside Malaysia to see the truly vast amount of Yamaha bikes around the nation.

Yamahas 135LC was always destined to be a winner. In a world where Honda’s main underbones were 110cc or 125cc, Yamaha released a liquid cooled, 135cc powered underbone. Some even came with 5 gears. After a call out to my viewers, Shawn responded with a photo of his Yamaha 135LC and was happy to take a few clips for me.
